2025 Year in review! Red Rocks 2025 highlights!

Red Rocks Amphitheatre has been the ultimate place to go for live entertainment ever since it opened to the public in 1906. This world class open air venue holds up to 9,525 people and sits just outside Morrison, Colorado. Red Rocks is a geological phenomenon. The venue proudly stands tall as the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world.The open‑air bowl is guarded by the towering Ship Rock and stunning Creation Rock monoliths. 

Every year, Red Rocks Amphitheatre hosts the best acts in the industry. The venue hasn’t only won over the hearts of Coloradans, but is known as the go to destination for audiences around the world. Over the years, the iconic stage has welcomed industry legends like The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Coldplay, The Lumineers, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, and many many more. 

Spring

2025 was another sell out year for Red Rocks Amphitheatre. By popular demand, the calendar kicked off on 8 March with the 13th annual installment of Icelantic’s Winter On The Rocks. This year’s festivities was headlined by Slovenian sensation Gramatik and featured a full lineup of top DJs. March also saw INZO take over the stage for a hometown rager (March 28) with bangers like “Ain’t No Thang,” “Overthinker,” and “Young Majestic.” Meanwhile, Boogie T brought his awesome brand of electro funk to the stomping grounds (March 29). April was absolutely HUGE! The month welcomed the likes of L’Imperatrice (April 8), Mersiv (April 4), Disco Lines (April 5), Remi Wolf (April 10), Elderbrook (April 11),  Wooli (April 12-13), Tequila Blues Festival: Los Lonely Boys, Eric Gales, & Harper O’Neill (April 13), Boris Brejcha (April 15), Polo & Pan (April 17), Hippie Sabotage (April 19), Wiz Khalifa (April 20), Sublime (April 21), MercyMe (April 22), Subtronics (April 24-25), Prof, JPEGMAFIA, That Mexican OT, & Danny Brown (April 26), The Movement, Pepper, & Tribal Seeds (April 27), Empire of The Sun (April 28), Amy Schumer (April 29), and Two Friends (April 30). What an epic month!!

In May, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey treated fans to an extended leg of their incredibly popular Restless Leg Tour. The Golden Globe Awards co-hosts and “Baby Mama” co-stars brought all their latest gags, and the audience were howling! Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit was another standout performance. The Six time Grammy-award winning musician Jason Isbell and his legendary band took over the stage with some of their best live performances! For country fans, Turnpike Troubadours spoiled fans with not one, but two concerts. The country and Americana hitmakers played to the back of the venue with crowd pleasers like “Good Lord Lorrie,” “Pay No Rent,” “Long Hot Summer,”  and more. 

Summer

The summer season was sizzling with unique events and top artists. Yoga On The Rocks saw musicgoers swap out their rave gear for a wholesome morning surrounded by breathtaking views. Meanwhile, Film on The Rocks played family favourite Shrek 2. Attendees saw the beloved Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and all its fairytale characters come to life under the Colorado stars. They also screened movies like Legally Blonde and Pirates of The Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl.

Some main players hit the stage this summer including Sheryl Crow on June 10, Mumford & Sons with two nights of their RUSHMERE North America Tour (July 21-22), The Marias with Sublime Tour extended (July 30), Zach Bryan with a packed out headliner show (August 10), Teddy Swims with “Tough Love World” Tour (August 27), and Billy Idol & Joan Jett and The Blackhearts with It’s a Nice Day to Tour Again (September 3). September wrapped up with a history-making show by emo cowgirl Megan Moroney (September 30). The “Tennessee Orange” hitmaker captured the hearts of fans with the highly rated Am I Ok Tour?.

October was just as epic with over a whopping 30 events on the calendar. Some of the best performances came from the emo kings of early 2000s All Time Low (October 12), “Team” hitmaker Lorde (October 14), and rap god T-Pain (October 28). TP20 had everyone nostalgic as it celebrated 20 years of T-Pain. There’s nothing quite like experiencing a living legend live! What’s more, Deadmau5! delivered two nights of EDM madness on November 7 and 8. He brought all the Grammy-nominated house music you know and love him for! The following week, Svdden Death brought two nights of heavy metal with Valley of Darkness on November 13 and 14. 

Another EPIC year

There’s no doubt about it… 2025 has been one of the best years to experience Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The bucket-list destination welcomed a huge roster of talent and fans can’t stop raving about their experience. “Red Rocks is the best music venue in the country. The beautiful natural amphitheater is a great place to hear a concert. It is so cool to watch the sun set and the lights come on in the city of Denver. We have been five different times and can’t wait to go back again,” says one happy concertgoer. While another says, “An amazing experience with the most incredible views and sound. Good food too! We saw the Led Zeppelin cover band Get the Lead out. Wow so much like the original band. You can’t go wrong in Any seat!” The venue hasn’t only caught the attention of fans, but also the press.
