It's a soul revival. Keeping their blues & soul energies alive on stage, no one else does it better than Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Powered by the husband and wife team of guitarist Derek Trucks and vocalist/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, their unique brand of modern blues-rock-Americana-soul music have stirred hearts since their first show in 2010. Their debut album "Revelator" won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album, showing great promise at the time. 15 years in, they definitely proved that they're one of the best names in blues music out there.
With tours described as “nothing short of exhilarating," (Salon), "nonstop excellence, virtuosity and musical community on all fronts." (Chicago Blues Guide), and "...seamlessly showcases the genuine transformative power of music," every single one of their shows pack their best hits, alongside much-awaited performances of new material.
Last March 20, Tedeschi Trucks Band released their sixth studio LP "Future Soul". Produced by Mike Elizondo and co-produced by Derek Trucks, it was recorded at the group's very own Swamp Raga Recording studio in Jacksonville, and the Phantom Studios in Gallatin. It is led by the single "I Got You", sharing messages of love and support amid a world of change.
The album saw a shift friom the band's jam-heavy style, yet still packs the soul and intense emotions that they always served in every record. With greater punk vibes heard, it's an album where the band took the time to experiment and explore ways to expand their sound.
"Future Soul is sublime, and one of America’s great bands just got a little bit greater," wrote Fraser Lewry of Classic Rock.
