Now imagine that for three nights in a row, with every night bringing something different to the table - life simply doesn’t get any better than that!
Widespread Panic has been together for around three decades, and just as you think they can’t get any better, they do - there simply is no stop in them. Since the release of their eponymous debut studio album, they’ve performed live over 2,000 times, every single show different thanks to their jam-band approach. To date, the improv-icons have released over 40 live recordings, 12 studio albums, and perform live between 150 and 175 times a year. If that is not impressive, we surely don’t know what is.
This year the beloved jam band from Georgia Widespread Panic will be returning to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the 76th time, after 75 consecutive sold-out shows at this much-adored venue, which also makes them recordholders for the most sold-out shows here. 2026 promises to be merely a continuation of this long-standing tradition of an annual three-night get-together - another three nights of searing guitar solos, an explosive party energy, immaculate showmanship, and off-the-charts musicianship are on the cards!
Widespread Panic, comprising lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist John Bell, bassist and vocalist David Schools, percussionist Domingo S. Ortiz, keyboardist and vocalist John Hermann, lead guitarist Jimmy Herring, drummer Duane Trucks, and touring guitarist Nick Johnson, are known to send any crowd into a kaleidoscopic spiral of unparalleled sound, shining the spotlight on each and every instrument and the musical mastery - enough to make even the best of musicians jealous. Every night is an epic feast of treasures from their massive back catalogue - from Coconuts and Christmas Katie to We Walk Each Other Home and Life as a Tree, alongside different deep cuts and even covers, and it’s simply to die for!
