The deep underground bass rises to the Red Rocks once more for Wakaan Rocks III! The annual haven for experimental bass and genre-bending sounds curated by bass music visionary Liquid Stranger and his Wakaan label back in 2023 returns for another fully immersive night to celebrate underground bass culture.
Please note the strict 18+ policy, aligning with Wakaan's mature, immersive party atmosphere, prioritizing safety and community.
A pioneer of blending dubstep, ambient, and global rhythms into mind-bending experimental bass music, Liquid Stranger, aka Martin Stääf, has shrouded his identity in mystery even while emerging as the face of the Wakaan revolution. He started this musical journey back in 1990 with trance and goa styles as part of the psytrance duo Necton, releasing on label Spirit Zone. Moving to experimental electronic in 2007, Stääf debuted the album, The Invisible Conquest, and then founded the Wakaan label in 2019.
With a discography that spans 15+ albums, receiving over 500,000 monthly Spotify listeners and 1 million+ YouTube views. He's performed at over 500 festivals worldwide, including Lost Lands and Shambhala, but considers Red Rocks his “spiritual home venue.”
Coming out of the mean river region of Mississippi, TVBOO, aka Mitch Draper, brings a distinct Southern swagger to electronic music. Draper transitioned from metal to electronic production around 2016 and debuted Right Field Bass in 2018. In 2023, he co-headlined Wakaan Rocks I at Red Rocks, delivering a set that fans called “pure chaos in the best way.” And in a 2024 interview, he credited his “undeniable success” to relentless touring, having done over 200 shows that year.
“The Man, the Myth, the Alien Fish,” AHEE, which stands for “A Human Expressing Experience,” brings a unique sound with wub-heavy productions. His 2019 debut on Wakaan came via the compilation Wakaan Rewind, when he exploded onto the scene with Wonky. He has over 1 million YouTube views on tracks like "Druidia" and "Be Free," and is a festival regular with 100+ festival appearances.
Fusing trap's grit with future bass euphoria, AVELLO, aka Adam Lawrence, hails from the humid club scene of Orlando, Florida. Emerging with early standout singles on Wakaan in 2017, he has been an opener for Alison Wonderland, Illenium, Excision, Slander, Seven Lions, and Gryffin. His 2020 breakout track "Cry" amassed 50 million streams, and he is another festival regular with 150+ shows yearly, including a 2026 Wakaan Rocks b2b with Ahee and TVBOO.
Set in the picturesque foothills west of Denver, Colorado, the 300 million-year-old Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre was converted in the 1930s to a 9,525-seat natural amphitheater. The venue's two iconic monoliths, Creation Rock and Ship Rock, stand 300 feet tall. Workers hand-quarried 800 tons of red sandstone and removed 50,000 cubic feet of dirt to create the seating area and stage. It requires 30,000 pounds of reinforced steel in its structure.
