We wish we could say “it’s not every day you get a chance to see the legends here in Morrison” but let’s be honest now - EVERY day is a fun adventure here between the Monoliths - and every week we bring that FIRE with some of the most eclectic artists and musicians of our generation - and the last, and the future ones! And our Summer 2026 line up isn’t an exception - 10 out of 10 shows, crowds from across the world, and musicians who truly only want us to jam as soon as the mic touches their hands. So when The String Cheese Incident hits the stage, you know we gotta do it right all night long. And for two back to back nights - how lucky are we?! Right here in Morrison on Friday July 17th and Saturday the 18th, the boys are here to remind us why they’re still the kings of all things jam - and quite frankly, we’re just glad to be able to see it all live. And if you didn’t get to see them in 2025 - well lucky for you and us and the crew, we got a show for you!

So - if you don’t know who the boys are or never heard about their crazy sets at Electric Forest every year, then let’s get acquainted, shall we?! The String Cheese Incident is THE premiere genre-less American jam band that has given a totally new meaning to that term. They started way back  in 1993 in Crested Butte, Colorado and totally built a whole global movement all on friendship, improvisation, and a deep love for performing live for everyone who came to their sets. Originally coming together as a bluegrass-leaning acoustic project and playing for virtually no one, the group grew as their sound did, too, including mixes and new interpretations of songs from rock, funk, jazz, electronic, psychedelia, and world music, creating a style that’s entirely their own. The OG lineup - Bill Nershi, Michael Kang, Michael Travis, Keith Moseley, Kyle Hollingsworth, and Jason Hann — became known for their chemistry, adventurous setlists, and marathon live shows.Rising through the 90s and now becoming a global sensation, they’ve debuted on the Billboard Independent charts many a time, have played at festivals and stages across the world, and play here at the Rocks every year. So another one of their shows for us here in the mountains? We’ll take it!
