SLANDER consists of Derek Andersen and Scott Land and is based in Los Angeles, California. Andersen and Land met at the University of California, Irvine, through their fraternity, Kappa Sigma. Together with Nghtmre, they later attended and graduated from Icon Collective, a music production school. "My relationship with Tyler (Nghtmre) came out of nowhere when we were put in the same classroom at Icon Collective together," Andersen explained. They began by doing shows for their college buddies and at local clubs.
Now, SLANDER is a Grammy-nominated Platinum-selling American electronic music duo best known for their unique, passionate, melodic bass music style. From graduating from Icon Collective to selling out enormous hard ticket venues like Red Rocks and performing at major festivals like EDC, Lollapalooza, Tomorrowland, and Ultra.
