All of us here at Red Rocks Amphitheater are so excited and so ready to throw down with the Spike Island peeps of Pulp as they take the stage this September for all of our listening and nostalgic pleasure. Taking place on Monday the 22nd, Pulp will be hitting the Colorado scene as they take over stages all across the country on their Here Comes More: Pulp Live 2025 Tour - celebrating the release of their first album in 24 years! More has been out for a few months now and that's given us ample time to learn all the lyrics and discover our favorite tracks - so you’ll be primed and ready when they come to town. And Red Rocks isn’t the only stop the band will be hitting this Autumn - they’ll also be at Atlanta’s Tabernacle on the 4th, The Anthem in D.C., Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, two nights at The Hollywood Bowl with LCD Soundsystem as a co-headliner, Minneapolis, and of course - right here at Red Rocks on Monday the 22nd for all of our listening and viewing pleasure.
Pulp is the epitome of Art Rock and the band has successfully created a soundscape that connects us to the rockers of the 20th century, yet sounds oh so indie and fresh all at the same time. Formed in England in 1978, the band came together back in high school and originally took the name Arabicus Pulp, and they mainly went under the radar for years when they first started off - many of the OG bandmates leaving for college after a few years, and all members got involved in other art forms like experimental performance art. Many years passed and eventually the band broke through with their 1994 record His n’ Hers record and the ‘95 follow up Different Class - finally catapulting them into British stardom and tours across the world. They finally unlocked the recipe and learned how to create art pop disco gems that felt so nostalgic then - but absolutely ARE nostalgic now. And now, 2 decades later since their breakthrough and with multiple new tracks on the way - we’re ready to be put back in those feels all over again.
So Red Rocks, are you ready for More?! Are you ready for some Pulp with your morning OJ?? Great - because we are too! Grab your tickets today, and let’s get ready to disco! See ya soon!
