After it reached 60,000 downloads, UMG picked it up and re-released the record, and soon enough the iconic track “Royals” sold over ten million units around the globe. Hitting #1 on the Hot 100 and topping numerous charts globally, the song changed her life forever. Awarded 14x Platinum by the RIAA, it’s one of the best-selling singles of all time.
