A New Chapter for Alesso
Alesso's career kicked off in 2010 with the relese of his "Alesso EP", and in 2011, Sebastain Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia reached out. Introducing him to DJing and helping out to produce his tracks, the man served as a great mentor for Alesso. While he only learned to DJ in 2011, Alesso marked his debut on DJ Magazine's top 100 DJs at #70. Now that's huge talent. From gaining attention in Beatport charts to dominating the scene with Billboard Hot 100 hits, his melodic EDM style and star-studded collaborations made him an unstoppable king.
Now, Alesso has his eyes wide opened, a changed perspective wherein "that success to me is finding peace," he tells Modern Luxury, as cited from We Rave You.
After taking a brief step back due to tinnitus, the man gained clarity and realized how important music is to him as he made his return to Ultra Miami after his break.
Back in late 2024, Alesso also launched his new independent label, Bodyhi. He shares that this enabled hum to have "the freedom to put out non-mainstream records and to support artists I really believe in."
