The tour’s launch show is “Hasan Hates Ronny: Ronny Chieng & Hasan Minhaj” on Thursday 24th September 2026 at the spectacular Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. Tickets from $158. The “A Debate to the Death” tour by Ronny Chieng and Hasan Minhaj is a national tour by two of the biggest names in modern comedy. On the tour, the two comedians will be performing stand-up, and examining different subjects from their own perspectives on the social observations that they have experienced. Arguing with each other over their different views on the subjects, the tour will be entirely unscripted, as the two comedians try to entertain the audience while confronting each other’s ideas and perspectives.
Ronny Chieng is a Malaysian Australian stand-up comedian. As a senior correspondent for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Chieng has appeared in a number of high-profile projects, including the hit film Crazy Rich Asians. Chieng released his first Netflix original comedy special, Speakeasy, in 2019, and his second special, Asian Comedian Destroys America, in 2020. Both specials have received widespread critical acclaim. Chieng is known for his sharp observations on modern life and his commentary on a number of issues, including identity, current events and more. Chieng brings a unique perspective and insight to the stage, making him one of the most popular and respected comedians in the world.
Minhaj is also known for his television show ‘Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj’ that aired on Netflix. The show received a Peabody Award and an Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary or Reality Series. The comedian also released a Netflix special called ‘Homecoming King’ and has gone on to tour the country performing for crowds and talking about his thoughts on current social issues in his unique way. A very thoughtful comedian, Minhaj pushes the boundaries of comedy and explores many different subjects in his work.
