BUT TODAY - on June 17th, right as the summer begins - we are bringing all the raw energy here for you and the crew. Amyl and The Sniffers are back and touring again - and they’re hitting ALLLL the North America stops with this one. The USA X CANADA tour is hitting twelve stops this month and you won’t wanna miss it when we rock out here for the show. And sure - they’ll go to Toronto, D.C., St.Louie and OMAHA too - but no place compares to Red Rocks, you and I know that. If you know anything about the new wave of punk rockers ripping through Australia right now and going from local to big time stages in what seems like a matter of seconds, then you already KNOW the boys and girls in the band - Amyl and The Sniffers. Led by the Amy Taylor and born out of a messy Melbourne shack house they shared back in 2016, this band wasn’t built in a boardroom, a writing camp, or some polished studio. They came up the old-school way: cheap gear, loud amps, no sleep, and a whole lot of creativity all in one night. Their first EP, Giddy Up, was famously recorded in 12 hours, but the raw, crackling sound and chaotic energy became their signature blueprint for what they eventually became, and has guided them to success ten years later. And paired with the master musicians - guitarist Declan Martens, bassist Gus Romer, and drummer Bryce Wilson - the band found the perfect chemistry: fast riffs to catalyze their career, punchy hooks filled wit all our favorite words, sweaty crowds who love singing along with the loud sounds, and absolutely zero pretense to match their career output. Their debut self-titled album in 2019 kicked the door down, earning them the oh so coveted Australian ARIA Award and a seat at the global punk table with all the greats. Then Comfort to Me (2021) launched them into the stratosphere: sharper production in real studios, heavy themes that still felt so close, and a world tour that proved they weren’t just a cult favorite - they’re the start of the next movement.
