Red Rocks Amphitheatre
One incredible night awaits you at Red Rocks Amphitheater on Wednesday, 15th July 2026. The Head and The Heart joins up with the absolutely incredible, Colorado Symphony for a once-in-a-lifetime show! Plus, a very special opening by Evan Honer.
The Head and The Heart will belt out, "Lost in My Mind," and "Down in the Valley," set against something the orchestra will excel at, like "All We Ever Knew" and some fantastic piano work with "Let's Be Still." Maybe something to suit the venue with "Virginia (Wind in the Night)." Oh! And let's not forget the new stuff from Aperture, like "After the Setting Sun" or "Beg, Steal, Borrow." Let's just face the fact that whatever set list they eventually pull out... It will sound incredible!
Hit the 'Buy Tickets' button right now! They're on sale from TicketSqueeze.com for just $117.
The Head and The Heart take somewhat of a back seat this year, spending the opening months of 2026 in the land down under supporting The Lumineers on their Australian tour in January. Then they'll be back stateside in February to support Brandi Carlile on "The Human Tour" for a series of dates in the US and Canada in February and March.
They do have their own shows lined up, but there aren't many, so unless you make it to Zootown Festival, then this two-night takeover at Red Rocks is for you... Besides, it's the kind of night you're not going to see again for a while... July 15 at Red Rocks features a unique orchestral collaboration with the Colorado Symphony, filled with indie-folk tracks and full symphonic accompaniment, and includes special guest Evan Honer. And July 16's non-orchestral night celebrates the band's 2011 self-titled debut with special guests Wilderado.
Formed after a run of open mic nights where Jonathan Russell and Josiah Johnson met, The Head and The Heart are ultimately an indie-folk band but do throw in some pop. They include the married couple, violinist Charity Rose Thielen and guitarist Matt Gervais, as well as bassist Chris Zasche, keyboardist Kenny Hensley, and drummer Tyler Williams.
Originally the Denver Symphony, this ensemble consists of 80 full-time musicians. They perform over 150 works per year, from classical masterworks to pops.
Starting out as a cover singer doing TikToks, Evan Honer's debut single, "How Could I Ever" led to a seven-figure major label deal that he turned down. Instead, he opted to launch the independent Cloverdale Records with 25 other artists out of his garage.
A 9,525-seat natural amphitheater located within 738 acres of natural parkland, and it is said to have been used for ceremonies by the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes for the last 10 thousand years. Its very first commercial show was with opera singer Mary Garden in 1911, even though it only officially opened in June 1941 after the Civilian Conservation Corps converted it into the state it is now.
