With a new post-breakup anthem “Almost” just released, the man shares a glimpse of his new EP “Survive.” Out in November, the “Someone You Loved” and “Before You Go” hitmaker is sharing new songs that’ll have the world in tears once more. Known for highly-emotional lyrical melodies that stir the soul with the feelings of love, loss, heartbreak, and longing, Capaldi’s music acts as a healing source for a lot of his fans. With a new EP and a tour coming right up, get ready for another emotional rollercoaster with Capaldi.

The Scottish singer-songwriter and musician dominated airwaves when his song “Someone You Loved” took over charts in 2019. Certified Diamond by the RIAA, the track was a global hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100. Nominated for “Song of the Year” at the 62nd Grammy Awards, and won the 2020 Brit Award for “Song of the Year,” his domination is no simple feat. In May 2020, his hit track became the longest-running top 10 UK single by a British artist of all time.
Looking back at his journey in music, it all began when he got up on the stage on a family trip when he was four. Learning how to play the guitar by the age of nine, the man is a natural-born artist. Later on, he began writing songs and playing gigs as he sneaked into pubs with his eldest brother. Working from the ground up, he was always driven by his passion for music that hits hard.
Becoming known for heartbreak anthems, he’s sharing yet another record that packs stories of love and hurt. His new EP “Survive” features the title track, “Something in the Heavens,” “Almost” and “The Day That I Die.” A follow-up to his 2023 album “Broken By Desire to Be Heavenly Sent,” it’s a promising new era from the powerhouse artist.
