Red Rocks is the number one place to see your favorite music and acts all year long, hands down. Whether you’re one of the ragers who likes to ride the rails, one of our country cousins who loves to hear that folk over a stringy banjo, or just a new yogi loves a quick sesh in breathtaking places - we’ve got it all for you right here between the monoliths! Located just outside of Denver in Morrison Colorado, the Red Rocks structure has been around for thousands of years - and was changed into an official music venue site less than one hundred ago. And now, with thousands of shows so far and some of the most iconic acts hitting the stage since our inception, we’re so excited to welcome Charles Wesley Godwin and Eric Church to the stage for their upcoming showcase right here on October 15th.

Celebrating their 2025 Free The Machine Tour, the tour will feature new sounds from Eric’s Evangeline vs. The Machine album and Godwin’s Live From Echo Mountain album that came out in March of 2024 and Lonely Mountain Town earlier this year. Charles, the West Virginia bred musician who began playing guitar and writing songs once he got to university, describes his musical style as soulful, poetic, sometimes slow, and above all - Country. He has toured with legends like Zach Bryan, and made music for movies like The Hunger Games. And even more impressive - he just got his start in 2018. At thirty one years old and with all the potential in the world - we’re so excited to see what Charles brings to the stage on this next tour, and especially what his opener Eric Church brings to the stage as well.

Eric Church is a powerhouse in Country music and culture, and his two decades long career shows just how massive his staying power has been since he took the stage in North Carolina. He began in his teen years playing local pubs and doing covers of Jimmy Buffett songs, and later creating the band The Mountain Boys. Eventually Eric moved to Tennessee where he got his big break in Nashville, and after his debut album Sinners Like Me came out in 2006 - Church was destined for country stardom. He’s won seven CMA awards, and been nominated for countless GRAMMYs. He also owns a bar in Nashville, and has shown that he isn’t afraid to be a mainstay in the country culture - and, we have no complaints about it either!
